Camp Putnam's 80th Anniversary Legacy Fund
80 Years of Care & Share. A Legacy Worth Protecting.

For 80 years, Camp Putnam has provided generations of campers with unforgettable summers, lifelong friendships, and a place to grow, belong, and thrive. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, staff, alumni, and supporters, this special community has endured for eight decades. But the future of camp isn't guaranteed.

Like many nonprofit organizations, Camp Putnam works hard each year to balance rising costs while keeping camp accessible for families. Each season, our goal is simply to break even...a challenge that becomes more difficult as expenses continue to increase and unexpected costs arise. Without a strong financial foundation, one difficult year could have a lasting impact on the camp we all love.

As we celebrate our 80th anniversary, we're taking a proactive step to protect Camp Putnam's future. Our goal is to raise $800,000 to establish a Legacy Fund that will provide stability, strengthen our long-term sustainability, and help ensure that future generations can experience the same magic of camp for years to come.

Every gift, no matter the size, is an investment in the next 80 years of Camp Putnam. Together, we can build a lasting legacy: one that gives future campers the same opportunities, friendships, and memories that have shaped so many lives. Thank you for helping secure the future of Camp Putnam.

Welcome to Camp Putnam!

Camp Putnam, located on 150 acres of fields and forest in rural New Braintree, has been serving the children of central Massachusetts (and beyond) for over 70 years. The emphasis at Camp Putnam is providing a safe, healthy, residential summer camping experience that is affordable for all families, regardless of income.

Camp Putnam is not a sports camp, a specialty camp, or a computer camp. We are camp in the truest sense of the word; a place where kids and staff interact with nature all day, every day.

This camp must comply with all regulations of the MA Dept of Public Health and be licensed by the Local Board of Health
